Start with the ingredient

A soluble fiber.
A little more understood.

PHGG stands for partially hydrolyzed guar gum, a soluble dietary fiber derived from guar seeds. Partial hydrolysis breaks down the gum into smaller chains, reducing its viscosity compared with intact guar gum.

Fybr uses PHGG in a ready-to-eat jelly format. The complete recipe, fiber amount per sachet and serving directions will be published before launch.

have explored.

These studies examine PHGG as an ingredient. They do not test Fybr or establish the benefits of our finished jelly.

Regularity

PHGG has been studied for bowel regularity. In an eight-week trial in healthy adults, the 5 g/day group had improved bowel-movement frequency compared with placebo.

Stool consistency

A three-month trial in 44 adults with a tendency toward loose stools found improved stool form with PHGG compared with placebo. Stool frequency did not change.

Gut bacteria

The same 2019 trial observed an increase in Bifidobacterium in the PHGG group. This supports research into its prebiotic role; it does not establish a universal microbiome benefit.

Keep asking good questions

The details
that matter.

Is PHGG better than every other fiber?

No single fiber is best for everyone. Different fibers have different properties, and suitability depends on the person, amount and formulation. We describe PHGG’s research without claiming universal superiority.

How much PHGG is in a Fybr sachet?

The amount and serving directions are still being finalized. Quantities in the linked studies are research protocols, not instructions for using Fybr.

Will it help with bloating?

A 2016 placebo-controlled trial in people with IBS reported improvement in bloating with PHGG, but not overall IBS severity or quality of life. That result does not establish that Fybr treats IBS or prevents bloating for everyone. Read the full trial.

Where will I find the complete product details?
